Public Comments are invited for the Science, Technology & Innovation Policy
The Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology is inviting the public to provide comments on the National Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) Policy.
The Policy seeks to deepen the application of science and technology in priority sectors and addresses the fragmentation in Jamaica’s innovation ecosystem.
The document is available on the Ministry’s website at www.mset.gov.jm/ with direct link https://www.mset.gov.jm/sites/default/files/UPDATED%20-The%20National%20ST%26I%20Policy%20JUNE%202019_0.pdf
Island-wide consultations will also be scheduled to raise public awareness about the Policy and obtain input from a wide cross-section of stakeholders.
Comments and feedback can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 31, 2019.
The ST&I Policy is aligned to the National Development Plan: Vision 2030 Jamaica and is a policy priority the Ministry seeks to have promulgated this financial year.
